Hello and welcome! My name is Jamie Nicholas and I’m the founder of Mighty Mindful Beings. I’m a certified meditation and mindfulness coach in Colorado Springs. I’m so very excited to offer this class to provide education within my community about MEDITATION!

MEDITATION is the answer! Meditation is a practice that has been around for centuries. What started off as a secret to a fulfilling life in the Eastern world has quickly gained attention and praise in the Western world.  Meditation is often the most recommended practice by therapists, physicians, and psychiatrists when it comes to improving mental health. WHY, you may ask? Because this powerful practice has the ability to transform your life working from the inside out.

In this class you’ll learn about…

· The history of meditation

· The body- How to sit in a way that is comfortable and without pain

· Preparing to sit

· Breathwork- the bridge between doing and being

· Types of meditation

· Resources to get you started- pillows, altars, apps etc.

· Misconceptions around meditation

At the end of class everyone will enjoy a lovely 15-minute guided meditation.

My goal with this class is to eliminate the fear of “MEDITATING” and instead replace that fear with knowledge, support, and excitement! ALL are welcome!
